Formerly the Suite 101Topic Editor for both Horse Racing and Boxing, I have stepped down from those roles and am currently taking a break, awaiting clarification of the site's future direction.

My writing interests are greatly varied, ranging from sport, to history, to political and social comment, just to mention a few. For a few varied samples, please visit my website at www.ukwriter.co.uk

If, like me, you have a passion for most sports, you are also very welcome to drop into my alternative, contentious view of the sporting world entitled Blog-Sport UK

For general news and entertainment chatter, please visit my other blog The Thoughts of Uncle Tatty

Having previously moved around the UK, I now live in Bedfordshire, England with my partner and our totally insane Boxer/Labrador called Bella. We have great fun running across the fields at the rear of my home, though it has to be said that these days I do a little less running than her.

When not writing or studying, I spend a lot of time working as a warden on a large nature reserve, developing my great love of wildlife and the outdoors. I like to go fishing, being an active member of the Blunham and District Angling Club and also very much enjoy watching Football, Boxing, Horse Racing and Cricket when I get the chance.

I collect horse racing systems and have a vast library full of supposedly different ways of beating the bookmaker. If only any of them actually worked I might be rich (or probably not!)

Another passion is travelling around the country in our 21ft touring caravan. I have had a few reviews of visited campsites published on various specialist websites.
